Woooz è il nome della band che nasce a Modena
nell’ inverno del 2017 dall’ incontro tra Riccardo Rossi (Evil
Knievel, Threelakes and the Flatland Eagles), Simone Giari
(Grès) e Alessandro Zanotti (The death of Anna Karina,
Ornaments).
In poco tempo i tre compongono una decina di brani che
verranno poi riarrangiati con l’arrivo di Alberto Strazzeri
(Reverve).
Insieme curano voci, melodie e testi dando vita a brani
energici e intensi, punk nello spirito, ma pop nelle stesure.
Chitarre fuzzose e parti tirate al limite ispirate dalle
sonorità punk, noise e grunge degli anni anni Novanta,
fuse con le più recenti garage, psichedeliche e
post-hardcore.
La loro musica é come una rete a strascico che pesca
emozioni dal fondo, cercando di ridare loro luce sotto
forma di canzone.
